When does McDaniel offer swim lessons?
We offer lessons throughout the year. Fall and Winter classes run in the evening, Tuesday/Thursday and Saturday/Sunday. Spring lessons run after school on Monday/Wednesday/Friday. And summer lessons run everyday both in the morning and early evening.
What swim lesson levels does McDaniel offer?
In the fall and winter sessions we offer levels one through four, as well as Swim School. In the Spring, levels 1-4. And in the summer, Water Babies through level 5.
What is the length of each session?
In the fall and winter each session consists of eight, 35-minute classes. Spring and Summer sessions consist of 9, 30-minute classes.
What is the cost of lessons at McDaniel?
One set of lessons costs $60. If the student signs up for two consecutive sessions, the second set is $55. The Swim School costs $110.
How do I know what level to place my children?
Please refer to the Skills page. We always test on the first class of each session to ensure each child is in the appropriate level.
Can I watch my child during their lesson?
Parents are welcome to view the lessons from the bleachers. Parents may wait with their child on the pool deck until the lesson begins. Once lessons begin parents must leave the deck area for safety purposes and so the children can focus on their instructors
