June 15 - June 26
( THIS COURSE SATISFIES THE JAN TERM REQUIREMENT )

If you're interested in studying and traveling in Budapest, but are uncertain about spending an entire semester, this is the opportunity for you.  This is a June Term 2010 course that combines travel and studying.  But, it's no ordinary studying.

The course will explore the cultural impact of international comic strips from Hungary, Germany, France, and Russia and analyze themes evident within the strips (e.g., politics, pop culture, social class, gender, etc.).  Students will also learn the process of creating a comic strip.

This trip is limited to 14 students, so act fast!
