Explore interdisciplinary and roots-based studies, spend time with visiting scholars, artists, film makers, and musicians and study with McDaniel faculty in a non-traditional setting.
Common Ground on the Hill, now in its 15th year in residence at McDaniel College, is built around the international community of musicians, artists, dancers, poets, and scholars that assemble each year during July for Common Ground’s Tradition Weeks. Students of all ages are encouraged to enroll, whether for non credit or credit.
Common Ground courses, like all courses at McDaniel College are academically rigorous, while allowing students to acquire new skills and perspectives in a friendly, encouraging environment. Families are encouraged to attend.
