SchellhornGreen Terror fight for playoff spots, Schellhorn earns Player of the Week

Green Terror men’s lacrosse lost its April 15 match-up with #1 Salisbury 6-20. Matt Buschman ’08 and Jared Nutter ’07 each contributed two goals. The squad sits at 4-6, 1-3 in conference.

McDaniel men’s and women’s lacrosse travel to Gettysburg April 19.

Broderick Maybank ’06 led the McDaniel track team April 15 with second place in the long jump, fifth place in the triple jump and twelfth place in the 100-meter dash at the Bucknell Classic in Lewisburg, Pa. Also placing for the Green Terror were Scott Koleszar ’07 with sixth place in the 400-meter dash, Kristy Costa ’06 with fifth place in the heptathlon, and Kacey Decker ’09 with ninth place in the triple jump.

Green Terror track hosts the Twilight Meet April 19.

McDaniel men’s golf finished eighth of 15 teams April 10 at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships in Hershey, Pa. Tom Michaels ’06 tied for third place with a combined 151.

Green Terror men’s golf returns to Hershey April 19 for the Blue Jay Classic. The women’s golf squad heads to the Kutztown Invitational April 22 in Kutztown, Pa.

McDaniel men’s tennis recorded one match victory April 13 in a home loss to Johns Hopkins 1-6. R.J. Seabeck ’07 defeated his opponent in straight sets. The team holds a 5-9, 0-5 in conference, record.

The squad travels to Collegeville, Pa., April 22 to take on Ursinus.

Green Terror women’s tennis dropped all its matches with Swarthmore April 15, 0-9. The team stands at 3-11, 0-8 in conference.

McDaniel women’s tennis meets the College of Notre Dame April 19 in Baltimore, Md.

Green Terror softball lost a pair April 15 to Haverford 2-4 and 0-1. Mary Abrams ’07 allowed four runs on seven hits in the first game, while Nichol Moeller ’06 struck out six, walked three and allowed four hits in the nightcap. McDaniel softball sits at 14-16, 2-6 in conference.

The softball squad takes on Dickinson April 18 in Carlisle, Pa.

McDaniel baseball lost two April 15 to Franklin & Marshall 2-11 and 3-4. Andy Eaton ’09 went one-for-three in both games, while Steve Jordan ’06 was one-for-three in the opener and one-for-four in the late game. The team stands at 8-17, 3-9 in conference.

Green Terror baseball heads to Chestertown, Md., April 18 for a match-up with Washington.
