Welcome—we’re pleased that you’re planning to visit campus!

We’re located 30 miles northwest of Baltimore and 56 miles north of Washington, D.C. Our beautiful and hilly 160-acre campus overlooks Westminster, Maryland, Carroll County's largest town and county seat.

As you’ll soon see, McDaniel is simply the way a college campus should look: stretches of lawn interrupted by walls and steps to sit on; impressive historic buildings, all of them renovated; an impressive library; terrific athletic facilities and playing fields; even a golf course.
