The McDaniel College Department of Music presents Delirious Tremor at 7 p.m. Oct. 10 in the McDaniel Lounge. The performance is free and open to the public. For more information, call the box office at 410-857-2599.
Delirious Tremor is a blend of progressive jazz and world and electric fusion. The band features adjunct lecturer Tim Jenkins on guitar, David Sheets on bass, and David Huether on drums. They will perform new compositions as well as songs from their previous three CD releases "Swelling Not to Burst," "Kept Warm by Bridges," and "Semi-Hollow-Body."
Jenkins was recently awarded a grant by the Maryland State Arts Council for his instrumental performance accomplishments. David Huether's drumming has drawn critical acclaim. Sheets is a member of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and principal bassist of the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra. He has performed with players such as Bobby McFerrin, Monty Alexander, and Branford Marsalis.
