At McDaniel, we try to make the application process as low-stress as possible. The deadline is Feb. 1.
  1. Complete our application online through the Common Application program.  A $50 nonrefundable fee is required. Candidates who file electronically must send this $50 fee to the admissions office by mail. We can’t process your application until we receive your payment.
  2. Forward your official high school records in English to the admissions office.
  3. If English is not your first language, please forward official copies of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) to the admissions office.
  4. Forward the results, in English, from all secondary school, university, and national examinations. Also submit copies of Advanced Placement and College Level Examination Program scores or your International Baccalaureate diploma. More about advanced placement...
  5. Submit copies of diplomas and certificates.
  6. If available, submit official copies of the SAT. The SAT requirement may be waived if students have a minimum score of 550 on the paper TOEFL examination, 213 on the internet TOEFL examination, or a score of 80 on the TOEFL iBT with a minimum score of 20 in each section. We accept either the old or new SAT I or the ACT and do not use the writing score on the SAT as part of our admissions process.
  7. Submit the certificate of finances form (PDF) to the admissions office.
  8. If you’re transferring from another four-year college in the United States, submit the residential student release form (PDF). We must receive this form before we review your application.
