THE SGA IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DISTRIBUTING FUNDS TO STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS. Any recognized student group is eligible for SGA funds. All groups requesting funds must submit a written request to the SGA treasurer, after registering with the College Activities Office.

Posting/Advertising Policy
All posters, flyers and banners should be approved and stamped by someone in the College Activities Office before they are posted within Decker College Center. All items must include contact information, however, they cannot depict or mention alcohol. Only general bulletin boards are approved for posting materials. You cannot post anything on painted surfaces, existing glass doors, or on specifically designated bulletin boards (e.g.- room for rent). Any items that are improperly posted will be removed.

Fundraising Procedures
All organizations wishing to conduct fundraising activities must seek approval from the College Activities Office. Goods should not be purchased or raffle tickets printed prior to obtaining permission. Raffles require a permit which may be obtained at the county office buildings.  A table to sell or distribute fundraising items must be reserved through the College Activities Office.

Alcohol Functions
Prior to any program being planned that would include the distribution of alcohol (beer and wine), the social chairperson, president or manager of the group must talk to someone in the College Activities Office. Functions using alcohol will only be approved, if requests for such events are made by the president, manager, editor or social chairperson.

Leadership Training
Workshops and training seminars are open to all students, especially officers. Please make  good use of these valuable opportunities as they will help you and your organization to grow and operate efficiently.
