Ars Nova

Restrictions aren't limitations, they just happen to be what you're working with.

Ars Nova is the McDaniel College Art Club. We meet Tuesday nights at 7:30 p.m. in The Studio, if you're an art major or even just dabble, feel free to come by and join us.

Purpose:
To provide a community for art students to thrive in; to provide a forum for art students to view and critique work, as well as discuss ideas and concerns in art and the art world; provide chances for student exhibitions; to improve the level of the Fine Arts program at McDaniel College; and to participate in philanthropic work to better the community.

Requirements:
Member must have completed or be enrolled in at least (one) Studio or Art History course.
Member must pay dues and participate in at least one philanthropic activity a semester.
Member must attend at least 80 percent of the meetings.

Meetings:
Every Tuesday @ 7:30 p.m. in The Studio
(You will receive an email if time or day changes.)

Dues:
Dues are $10
Used for: Club shirts / materials / trips / speakers.

Philanthropy:
As artist we should want to better the community that we live in. By giving back to the community, hopefully, they will support us.
