There is a large variety of course patterns available for biology majors, which allows a student to tailor a program that matches his or her interest. Most fit loosely into one of several patterns. The "basic major" is the starting point for all.
The links at the right provide information about the three course patterns that most Biology Majors choose. They are:
1. Biology Major (the "basic major")
2. Environmental Biology (a specialty track within the Biology Major)
3. Molecular Biology (also a specialty track within the Biology Major)
4. Minor in Biology
5. Environmental Policy and Science (EPS -- a Biology/Political Science affiliated major)
