McDaniel College has a formal Professional Development School (PDS) partnership with 18 schools within 30 minutes from the campus.This formal partnership insures that students enrolled in the education minor have internship opportunities in public schools that understand the needs of developing teachers. The teachers and administrators in the PDSs collaborate with college staff and faculty to ensure growth opportunities for both the teacher candidate and the public school students.
