Many of our graduates chose to teach in the state of Maryland, however completing a Maryland-approved program in teacher education enables candidates to secure Maryland certification which can then be taken to 26 other states for certification to teach in those states. Another 19 states may have additional requirements for full reciprocity.  The National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification (NASDTEC) is dedicated to licensing well-prepared, safe and wholesome educators for all schools.
