Curriculum

The study of psychology encompasses many different subfields.  Our department offers courses in behavioral, clinical, cognitive, developmental, social, and industrial-organizational psychology as well as electives on other special topics.

In addition to choosing the psychology major and minor, students can combine a major in psychology with other programs as well.  Many students complement a major in psychology with a minor in elementary education or human resource development.  A dual major in psychology-sociology is also available.

Students interested in becoming counselors can earn their bachelors in psychology and masters in counseling through the 5-year counseling degree which combines undergraduate and graduate level coursework.
