THE HILL is published three times a year for alumni and friends.

We aim to inform, educate, and entertain our readers by bringing them the stories of our alumni and faculty while illuminating topics of national and international concern. Rounding out the picture are updates on campus and sporting events, staff and faculty feats, and student and alumni achievements. Class Notes, which give each alumnus a chance to shine, complete our profile of "the Hill" experience.

Awards
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) awarded THE HILL magazine a Bronze Medal in its 2008 international Circle of Excellence Awards Program for overall excellence in general-interest magazines. A total of 152 entries were considered for this category. THE HILL also won a Silver Medal in the Visual Design in Print category for the cover of the Summer 2007 issue.

These awards are the fourteenth medals earned by the magazine’s staff—since the magazine was launched in 1985—in this highly competitive awards program.
