The Honors Program at McDaniel College seeks students who are in essence College Scholars. College Scholars are students who are intellectually curious, motivated to learn in and outside of the classroom, and intrigued by new ideas.

Students are invited to join this Program of specially-designed liberal arts courses to encourage them to think deeply, creatively, and critically. Professors from all departments often offer courses that they don't offer to the undergraduate population as a whole and these topics are often related to the instructor's research, giving Honors students a real taste of the scholarly life.
