Special Opportunties
There are several events and opportunites each year for students in the Honors Program.

Each semester honors students have the opportunity for a Cultural Day in the City. Students have time to explore either Baltimore or Washington, D.C. for the morning and students attend a matinee of a play or concert or other performance in the afternoon.

Every late February or early March the Honors Program hosts an Annual Lecture. A scholar from the sciences, humanities, or social sciences is brought to campus to give a lecture to Honors students and the campus community. Past lectures have been given by art historians, biologists, and anthropologists.

Each May the Honors Program hosts a senior dinner in which the senior honors students are celebrated. At this dinner those who have held Leadership positions are also thanked and recognized.
