The Grants Committee's primary responsibility is to encourage grant seeking among McDaniel College faculty, staff, and students. To acheive this, the Committee has affirmed these goals:

1. to design and implement activities that promote grant seeking;
2. to mentor and help train faculty, staff, and students interested in pursuing grants;
3. to work with the Faculty Grants Associate to promote a grants culture at the College;
4. to work with Corporate and Foundation Relations to realize funding opportunites; and
5. to work with the Office of Financial Services to ensure careful stewardship of grant monies.
