A MAJOR CHANGE TO FINANCIAL AID PROCESSING
Effective with the Graduate Summer 2008 term, the FAFSA form with be processed as a header for the Academic Year.  The new 2009 FAFSA is required for this 2009 summer sessions and will be used for Fall 2009 and Spring 2010.

Federal Stafford loans are available for students seeking a Master's degree.  Student must be registered for at least 6 credits per term.

• Step 1) Apply for a PIN number with the US Department of Education. This will become your signature and will be the same number for each year that you apply for Financial Aid.

• Step 2) Using your new PIN number complete the appropriate FAFSA form:

• Step 3) Complete a McDaniel College Institutional Application:
  Summer 2009 - Fall 2009- Spring 2010 Graduate Institutional Form (pdf)
• Step 4) Submit the institutional form with copies of appropriate Federal Tax Return, all pages and W-2's.
• Step 5) Complete an Entrance Loan Interview (Federal Government requirement).
• Step 6) Complete a Direct Stafford Loan MPN (New borrowers only) NOT THE GRAD PLUS  DO Subsidized/Unsubsidized
• Step 7) Complete an Exit Loan Interview (Federal Government requirement). To be done upon completion of your degree or not taking at least 2 classes per semester.
• Step 8) Deaf Education: Charlotte Newcombe Scholarship for Deaf students.
