McDaniel College

Curriculum
Economics Majors usually take a mathematics course and perhaps principles of economics in their first year.  By the end of their sophomore year those courses and statistics should be complete. By the end of the junior year we look for those courses plus intermediate micro and macro economics along with some of the other courses required for the major.  History of economic thought is taken in the fall of the senior year and perhaps a thesis is done in the spring of the senior year.  A handful of the most  promising students are invited by Dr. McIntrye to participate in the Federal Reserve Challenge and they usually take Money and Financial Markets in the spring of their junior year.

Please see Courses in the Majors and Minors and the Economics and Business Administration Department Handbook.
