- Kaha Hashi held up a black folded head-scarf, called a hajib. “It’s Calvin Klein,” she said of her gift for the Class of 2006 time capsule. At the Multicultural Leaders Banquet May 5, seniors involved in cultural and ethnic organizations were honored with Certificates of Appreciation and contributed to the memory-box, which will be kept by the College for an as-yet undetermined future date. » Full Story

Mobilizing Martin Luther King's dream
1/24/2005 - The McDaniel College community will celebrate the life and work of Martin Luther King Jr. at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 31 on campus in WMC Alumni Hall. The celebration, “Mobilizing the Dream: encouraging change, inspiring action,” features keynote speaker the Rev. Jamal-Harrison Bryant, founder and pastor of The Empowerment Temple in Baltimore, Md., and former NAACP leader. » Full Story
