How will my gift help?

Contributions to the Green & Gold Club allow McDaniel College athletic teams to compete at the highest  possible level. Gifts help coaches in their efforts to recruit academically and athletically talented students,  subsidize team trips including spring-break tournaments, and make improvements to athletic facilities. Contributions can be made to support Green Terror Athletics as a whole, or a specific sport. Ten percent of every gift will also support the Athletic Department’s operating budget. We strongly encourage  Green & Gold Club members to make their gifts in addition to supporting the McDaniel College Annual  Fund, which provides vital scholarship funding for the majority of all undergraduate students.

Does my gift really make a difference?

McDaniel College is one of two Centennial Conference schools fielding varsity teams in 24 sports. More  than a quarter of the College’s 1,600 full time students compete in at least one varsity sport. Your gift to  the Green & Gold Club will help ensure even greater successes in the future. In the four short years of  its existence, the Green & Gold Club has grown to over 600 members and has raised more than $200,000 all in support of Green Terror Athletics!   Within the past year, these funds have helped to  send teams on training trips, purchase new state-of-the-art wireless scoring devices, new audio visual equipment for the film room, a new tarp for the baseball field, a new ball machine for the tennis programs, as well as other similar expenditures that have helped to bolster our Green Terror
athletic programs.
