Meet the Coordinator

Daria Buese, Ph.D.

Dr. Buese was named the Coordinator of the Curriculum and Instruction Program at McDaniel College in 2007. She came to McDaniel from the College of Education at the University of Maryland where she held positions as a lecturer and research associate. Prior to her work in higher education, Buese taught a variety of K-12 subjects in schools in Pennsylvania and middle school mathematics and music in the state of Washington.

Buese earned her Ph.D. from the Department of Educational Policy and Leadership at the University of Maryland.  She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lewis and Clark College and a B.S. in Music Education from The Pennsylvania State University.

An author and contributor to several scholarly publications and presentations, Buese is a member of the American Educational Research Association and Phi Delta Kappa.
