Frank Wright ’03 Student of Life, Student for Life
- I started medical school but decided I wasn’t cut out for it. It was always my dream to complete my degree.
-
Lots of things got in the way. I served in the Navy. My wife and I raised two kids. I had a career as a medical technician. Then my wife had a stroke and needed my care.
- The teachers here say I challenge them to be better teachers. I say, ‘You know, anyone can teach eggheads.’ I once had to re-write a paper four times.
-
One thing I cherish is running into the same characters all the time in my studies, like the 12th century female composer and theologian Hildegard von Bingen. I ran into her in music class and then again in religion class.
-
This campus is my Mecca. I’m getting smarter all the time.
