Meet the Coordinator

Jeremy Kiene, Ph.D.

Dr. Kiene was named the coordinator of the Master of Liberal Arts (MLA) program at McDaniel College in 2007. He has been an instructor in the English departments at McDaniel and the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. He currently teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses at McDaniel.

Kiene earned his Ph.D. in English from Notre Dame, specializing in Renaissance Literature. A former research fellow at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC, he holds a bachelor’s degree in English and History from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
  
An author of several scholarly publications, Kiene also is a member of the Modern Language Association, the Renaissance Society of America, and the Group for Early Modern Cultural Studies.
