THEATRE ON THE HILL APPRENTICE PROGRAM
• This program is for High School students between the ages of 15-18.
• Students commit to a minimum of 9 hours per week
• Attendance is required at all Master classes, which will be held on Saturdays
• Students may receive community service hours for participation in this program – but must make arrangements with their home school.
• Call time will not begin before 3pm on weekdays while school is still in session.  All Apprentices will be released in the evenings by 9:30pm while school is in session until tech week.  During tech week students may be asked to stay until 11:00pm.  Dinner is not provided, but everyone has a 1.5 hour dinner break.  There is a microwave and refrigerator available for your use, and several restaurants within walking and driving distance.
• When you are accepted into the program, you will be asked to fill out a form detailing your scheduling availability.  All conflicts must be noted on the form.  In addition you will be sent a contract which will explain all the expectations.

Acting Apprentices
are accepted by audition only.  The student must be able to commit to the entire rehearsal and performance schedule (made available on the day of auditions), as well as the schedule of master classes.  This will mean more than the 9 hour per week commitment.  To apply for an acting apprentice position, request an application form.  You will be contacted with information about scheduling your audition.

Technical Theatre Apprentices
include the areas of sets, props, costumes, lights and sound.  Tech apprentices must be available for a minimum of 9 hours per week, plus additional hours for the entire technical and performance schedule for the two mainstage productions.  

Administrative and Management Apprentices
include the producers office, box office, house management, and stage management.  The student must commit to a minimum of 9 hours work per week, as well as all dress rehearsals and all performances of each production, including the children’s show and the cabarets.
