Playback Theatre is returning to the McDaniel College campus at 8 p.m. Dec. 1 in WMC Alumni Hall. Playback is a form of improvisational theatre, created through a unique collaboration between performers and audience. Someone tells a story or moment from life, chooses actors to play the different roles, then watches as the story is recreated and given artistic shape. The performance is free and open to the public. ”Music for Organ and Orchestra,” featuring organist Ted Dix and conducted by Music lecturer Linda Kirkpatrick will be presented at 2 p.m. Dec. 3 in Baker Memorial Chapel. The program launches a campaign to renovate the chapel’s historic Aeolian-Skinner organ, which is nearly 50 years old.
