How long will the program take to complete?
Full-time students can expect to complete the degree in about two years. Part-time students can complete the program in as few as two and one-half years, including two summer sessions.

What does the portfolio involve?
Throughout the BEST program, teacher candidates will be required to maintain a portfolio — a collection of teaching artifacts with descriptive and reflective captions — that demonstrates the professional growth and development of the student. Students will also develop and refine a portfolio of their own exemplary teaching practices and artifacts during the internship semester.
