Hill Happenings
•Jazz Night will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Carroll Arts Center. Under the direction of Bo Eckard, a variety of McDaniel student musicians, including instrumentalists and vocalists, perform a wide variety of jazz compositions.

•The College Band Concert will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 8 in WMC Alumni Hall. Twenty-five McDaniel students and 25 community musicians, under the direction of Music lecturer Linda Kirkpatrick, will play holiday favorites like “Sleigh Ride” and “Stille Nacht” as recorded by Mannheim Steamroller, as well as other selections, including music by Michael Kamen and a tribute to Duke Ellington, “The Symphonic Duke,” arranged by Tommy Newsome.

•The Gospel Choir Concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 9 in Baker Memorial Chapel. Under the direction of Music lecturer Eric Byrd, the choir will perform a variety of gospel music, ranging from traditional spirituals to contemporary pieces.
