Athletic Training Minor
Although not a certification program, the athletic training minor is valuable for students interested in graduate study in athletic training, exercise physiology, physical therapy and occupational therapy.  Students interested in pursuing a minor in Athletic Training should discuss their plans with their academic advisor and the athletic training staff.  Students completing this minor must complete the following requirements:

MINOR IN ATHLETIC TRAINING (24-25 HRS.) (for students entering before Fall 2010)
EPE 1141 Fundamentals of Exercise & Conditioning - not required for EPE majors (1 credit)
EPE 2225 Prevention & Care of Athletic Injuries
EPE 2230 Biomechanics
EPE 3306 Advanced Athletic Training
EPE 3307 Practicum in Athletic Training
EPE 3325 Nutrition
One course from:
EPE 2215 Adapted Physical Education
EPE 2238 Sport Coaching & Management
