Dr. Debra Miller received her Ph.D. in the Philosophy of Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Maryland.  In addition to teaching in the Education program, Dr. Miller is the Graduate Coordinator for the Reading program.  She is a certified Reading Specialist with professional interests in reading assessment, strategic reading instruction, and the continuous school improvement process.  She is also an accomplished pianist and church organist and has played for hundreds of weddings!
