Honors Housing
Students' conversations that begin in the classroom often spill over into the dining hall, the fitness center, and the residence halls. Allowing Honors students to have the option of residing together promotes academic and extracurricular connections within the program, and strengthens the collaborative nature of scholarly activity.  Daniel MacLea Hall is the most popular of Honors housing options (pictured below), but Honors students live in clusters across campus. Assignment of Honors housing is lottery based and run by the Honors Club in conjuction with the Office of Residence Life.

Affinity housing requires students to create, plan, and participate in housing activities. Living in Honors Program affinity housing is a privilege, and is conferred upon Honors students who express commitment and devotion to the ideals of the Honors Program. As such, Honors students are expected to complete a minimum number of community service hours each semester as a demonstration of their commitment.
