Army ROTC has been a tradition at McDaniel College since 1919 when the institution was known as Western Maryland College.  Throughout the Schools history the program has flourished and provided America with some of its finest officers.  McDaniel College is partnered with Mount Saint Mary’s University, in Emmitsburg, MD to offer the students of these schools the opportunity to become commissioned officers in the US Army.  Most recently the ROTC BN has welcomed students from Hood College in Frederick, MD as an affiliate school to increase the ability to train future leaders.
