Artist satirizes pop art and hip-hop in exhibit
The McDaniel College Department of Art and Art History presents “Our Radio is Bigger than Yours: Works by Ayanah Moor” Jan. 23-Feb. 16 in the Esther Prangley Rice Gallery in McDaniel College’s Peterson Hall. Middle East peace expert to lecture
The McDaniel College Departments of Foreign Languages and Cross-Cultural Studies present a lecture by Janet Powers about her newly published book, “Blossoms on the Olive Branch: Israeli and Palestinian Women Working for Peace,” at 7 p.m. Feb. 1 in McDaniel Lounge. McDaniel sponsors foreign film festival with Carroll Arts Ctr.
McDaniel College is sponsoring the Carroll Arts Center’s fourth annual Foreign Film Festival, held throughout February. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for members, seniors and students. McDaniel College students will be admitted free. For more information, call (410) 857-7272. Films include:

Monday Night Music presents the Eric Byrd Trio
The McDaniel College Department of Music presents The Eric Byrd Trio, comprised of lecturer Eric Byrd, Alphonso Young Jr., and Bhagwan Khalsa, and featuring saxophonist Paul Carr, at 7 p.m. Feb. 5 in McDaniel Lounge. CMOTH presents “Gershwin and the Galaxy”
Chamber Music On The Hill, in residence at McDaniel College, presents “Gershwin and The Galaxy” with music lecturers and duo pianists Don Horneff and David Kreider at 3 p.m. on Feb. 11 in WMC Alumni Hall.
