Research and Teaching Interests
I have been working on contemporary French novelists, as well as movies by Agnès Varda and French cartoonists, such as Zep.

Due to my field of specialization, I tend to teach most classes dealing with modern or contemporary literature or topics. I have taught topics as varied as "Advanced Translation and Interpretation" or "Major Texts in 19th and 20th Century Literature." At the intermediate level, I have taught classes on "The French-Speaking World" and "The European Union." I also teach Elementary French on a regular basis.

Hobbies
I jog all year round. I love gardening and cooking and I work on an oil painting once in a while!
