Using Smart Classrooms
1. Turn on the LCD Projector using the LCD Remote.
  • Point the remote directly toward the LCD projector (attached to the ceiling).
  • Press the on button once and hold for 1-2 seconds.
  • Wait.
  • Look for the light.
  • Do not press the on button again unless the light does not come on. Give it some time. If, after 20-30 seconds, you do not see the light come on, press again.

2. Turn on the appropriate equipment:

  • Computer and monitor if you intend to use the computer
  • DVD/VCR player and Tuner if you intend to show a DVD or VHS tape.

3. Make certain the correct sound source is selected on the tuner

  • PC sound for PC
  • DVD/VCR sound for the player

4. Select appropriate video source for LCD (see the LCD Remote)

5. On the LCD Remote:

  • Select Comp I if you want to display video from the computer
  • Select Video if you want to display video from the DVD/VCR player

6. If you are using the DVD/VCR player use the DVD/VCR remote to control the player.

  • Please return this remote back to its proper place in the cabinet.

7. When you are finished with the class:

  • Turn off the LCD. To do this, point the LCD remote to the projector. Select Off button. You should see a message on the screen asking you to select Off again. Select Off again.
  • Turn off the remainder of the equipment.
  • RETURN the REMOTES to their proper places in the case.
  • Lock the Case.
