McDaniel College

InTech Grants
InTech offers the Faculty Institute program each summer to provide faculty members an opportunity to learn new ways to teach creatively using technology. Faculty admitted into the institutes will receive a $500 stipend and up to $500 to support their instructional technology project.

These institutes are designed to encourage and support:

  • faculty who want to develop technology skills in areas beyond their disciplines;
  • innovative approaches to teaching using technology; and
  • student-centered pedagogies and collaborative approaches to teaching and learning.

 Faculty members who are chosen to participate will be asked to:

  • spend 1-2 weeks working with one, or more, members of the InTech team in the Maggie Lab or other suitable location; and
  • report their experiences to the college community in an informal session during the following fall or spring semester.
