InTech offers the Faculty Institute program each summer to provide faculty members an opportunity to learn new ways to teach creatively using technology. Faculty admitted into the institutes will receive a $500 stipend and up to $500 to support their instructional technology project.
These institutes are designed to encourage and support:
- faculty who want to develop technology skills in areas beyond their disciplines;
- innovative approaches to teaching using technology; and
- student-centered pedagogies and collaborative approaches to teaching and learning.
Faculty members who are chosen to participate will be asked to:
- spend 1-2 weeks working with one, or more, members of the InTech team in the Maggie Lab or other suitable location; and
- report their experiences to the college community in an informal session during the following fall or spring semester.
