McDaniel College Theatre presents “The Zoo Story” by Edward Albee at 8 p.m. April 11-14 in WMC Alumni Hall, and “Pterodactlys” by Nicky Silver at 8 p.m. April 18-21 in WMC Alumni Hall.  For both shows, tickets cost $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and students. The Kathryn E. Wentz Undergraduate Student Show will be held through April 13 in Peterson Hall’s Rice Gallery. “Don’t Eat the Paint,” an exhibition by senior Studio Art majors specializing in painting and mixed media, will be held April 17-27.

Academic, activity and leadership awards will be presented to the class of 2007, faculty and alumni at the Spring Undergraduate Awards on April 15th, and at the annual Senior Investiture and Honors Convocation April 29th.

Chamber Music on the Hill presents the Mariner String Quartet with pianist David Kreider at 7:30 p.m. April 15 at the Carroll Arts Center for a concert dedicated to the memory of its member Phanos Dymiotis. The music lecturer was killed March 10 in a car accident. Tickets are $15 for adults, $8 for seniors, and free for students with valid I.D. For information, call 410-857-2599.

McDaniel College Department of Music and Carroll Community College Department of Music present The Westminster Symphony Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. April 17 at the Scott Center at Carroll Community College. The group consists of 20 McDaniel students in addition to students from Carroll Community College and community musicians. For information, call 410-857-2599.

The Department of Music at McDaniel College, in conjunction with the Children’s Chorus of Carroll County and Masterworks Chorale of Carroll County, presents concerts featuring a newly commissioned work, “Journeys to Freedom: Rännakud Vabadisse.” The Children’s Chorus concert will be held at 3 p.m. and the College Choir Concert at 7 p.m. on April 22.
