The McDaniel Women’s Leadership Network presents “Transformation: Are Women Changing Power or is Power Changing Women?” a conversation with Beth Perlman, CIO of Constellation Energy Group, at 7:30 p.m. April 25 in McDaniel Lounge.

As chief information officer and senior vice president of Constellation Energy, Perlman is responsible for all company-wide information technology initiatives, including the standardization of systems and architecture. She has held leadership positions in Enron, Lehman Brothers, Kidder, Peabody & Company and J.P. Morgan.
Perlman serves as a board member of the American Technion Society, the Maryland/Israel Development Center and the Center for Women in Technology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She is also on the board of sponsors for the Sellinger School of Business at Loyola and chairs the Maryland Task Force on the Status of Women and Information Technology.
After the keynote speech, Assistant Professor of Communication Deborah Vance will lead a panel discussion about women and power. The panel includes Elizabeth Buck, president of Buck Distributing Company, Inc., one of the largest Miller Brewing Company distributors in the Mid-Atlantic; Jaime Walker Luse ’99, an attorney with Tydings & Rosenberg; Eileen Rehrmann, president of Rehrmann & Associates; and Erika Seth, director of development for the Baltimore Educational Scholarship Trust (BEST).
The McDaniel Women’s Leadership Network consists of alumnae, students and friends who are committed to advancing women as organizational and philanthropic leaders at the College and beyond.
