Become a Career Peer
Career Peers are involved in the delivery of career-related programming and assistance to McDaniel College students and alumni. Duties include reviewing resumes and cover letters, providing career advising to students during walk-in hours, planning and implementing career services outreach activities (e.g. information tables, workshops & class/group presentations), assisting staff with special projects and programs (e.g., Graduate School Fair, Alumni Career Dinners), and marketing Career Services to McDaniel students and student groups.

Career Peers can expect to work 6 hours per week. Evening hours are available. Additionally, Career Peers must be able to participate in training sessions the week prior to the start of the Fall and Spring semesters.

To apply: Submit a resume, cover letter, and completed application to Career Services. You can drop off the application materials at the office, located in Smith House, or send it through campus mail: Career Services, Attention: Amanda Blankenship.
