The musical is the rainbow ride of Joseph and his coat of many colors through biblical Egypt guided by Andrew Lloyd Webber's uplifting music with the humor and poetry of lyricist Tim Rice.
Jordan Stocksdale stars as Joseph and will be entertaining audiences with his vibrant coat and incredible musical numbers. He was last seen at Theatre on the Hill playing Jesus in “Godspell,” and also playing several characters in the children’s shows.
Jennifer Benson is making her Theatre on the Hill debut as the narrator in “Joseph.” Recently, Jenn has been seen at the Kennedy Center, the Signature Theatre, and singing the national anthem for the Washington Nationals baseball team.
Julie Herber, director and choreographer, recently directed “The Threepenny Opera,” which was produced by the Maryland Ensemble Theatre based in Frederick. Herber has many credits at Theatre on the Hill including directing, choreographing, and acting. Her previous productions include, but are not limited to, directing “Barnum” and “Sweet Charity,” choreographing “Godspell” and “Blood Brothers,” as well as starring in Theatre on the Hill's first production of “Oliver,” and playing Peter in the production of “Peter Pan.”
