While not required of most EPE students, internships often prove to be an invaluable experience in preparing students for their chosen career.  An internship is required for those students pursuing a Minor in Sports Management.  EPE students have recently conducted internships with professional, college, and high school sports teams, hospitals and doctor's offices, physical therapy clinics, sports camps, athletic administration, and fitness centers.  Students completing an internship should typically expect to submit a daily log of their experiences, complete various projects, and submit a final paper on the experience to receive credit for the internship.  Internships are graded only using the Credit/No Credit grading option.  A limited number of paid internships are available through various organizations.  Students interested in serving as an intern should discuss their options with their academic advisor.
