McDaniel football snapped a four-game losing streak against Muhlenberg Nov. 5, with a 13-6 victory. Two quarterbacks and two receivers logged the Green Terror points, with Tom Wenrich ’07 hitting Mark Koenig ’06 and Brett Gibson ’08 finding Jamie Unger ’06. Drew Abbamonte ’07 and Josh Marvel ’06 led the defense with 13 and 11 tackles, respectively.

McDaniel field hockey lost in overtime to Gettysburg 2-3 in the Centennial Conference Semifinals Nov. 5. Carolanne Bianco ’07 and Jamie Nash ’07 scored for the Green Terror, while Erika Wawzyanick ’09 turned away eight shots in goal. The team finished the season 11-7, 7-4 in conference.

Green Terror men’s soccer dropped a double overtime match to Gettysburg 0-1 in the Centennial Conference Semifinals Nov. 5. Andrew Wu ’06 recorded seven saves in the contest. McDaniel ends the season 13-4-2, 7-2-2 in conference.

Green Terror women’s soccer didn’t fare any better in its double overtime match, losing 2-3 to Washington Oct. 29. Nikki Varoutsos ’06 and Jamie Janowich ’07 kicked goals for McDaniel, while Michelle Mullen ’07 racked up six saves. The squad finished 7-10-1, 3-6-1 in conference.

McDaniel cross country couldn’t muster a podium finish at the Centennial Conference Championships Oct. 29 at Oregon Ridge Park in Timonium, Md. Paul Hugus ’06 led the men’s team with a 26:35, tenth-place finish. The men were seventh of nine squads. Kelly Gruber ’06 led the women’s side, crossing the line at 24:05. The women finished tenth of ten teams.

Green Terror cross country heads to the NCAA Mideast Regionals in Carlisle, Pa., Nov. 12.

McDaniel volleyball wrapped up its fall campaign with a 3-0 victory over Bryn Mawr Oct. 29. Tamara Twardowski ’06 recorded two aces and nine digs, while Krista Eiser ’06 contributed two aces and eight digs. Green Terror volleyball finished 10-17, 6-4 in conference.
