McDaniel’s fall sports seasons are now tucked away in the record books.

Many Green Terror athletes received All-Conference honors, including men’s soccer Player of the Year Scott Morrow ’07 (above).

McDaniel men’s soccer wrapped up with a loss to Grove City Nov. 12 in the ECAC Semi Finals.

The team fought to a 1-1 tie after two overtime periods, as Thomas Kane ’06 recorded the lone goal. McDaniel lost in penalty kicks 1-2.

Green Terror men’s soccer finished 14-4-3, 7-1-2 in conference.

McDaniel football dropped its final contest 5-14 against Johns Hopkins Nov. 12. Jay Leonard ’09 kicked a field goal and the defense recorded a safety for Green Terror points. The defense also racked up seven sacks, 1.5 from Jay Scott ’06. Quarterback Tom Wenrich ’07 was 13-for-33 for 114 yards.

Green Terror football ended its fall at 5-5, 2-4 in conference.

McDaniel cross country ran the NCAA Mideast Regionals Nov. 12 in Carlisle, Pa. The men’s squad finished 24th of 40, with Matt Rouse ’07 leading the team in 44th place. The women’s team ended 27th of 42. Natasha Young ’06 was the top Green Terror woman, crossing the line in 51st place.

The end of fall signals the beginning for men’s and women’s basketball, wrestling, swimming and indoor track.

Green Terror men’s basketball competed in the Pride of Maryland Tournament Nov. 18-20. McDaniel left with wins over Frostburg and Washington and a loss to Johns Hopkins.

McDaniel men’s basketball travels to St. Mary’s of Md. Nov. 22.

The 23rd-ranked Green Terror women’s basketball squad opened its season at the Catholic University Tip-Off Tournament Nov. 18-19. McDaniel grabbed a victory versus Shenandoah and a loss to Baruch.

The home schedule begins Nov. 22 for women’s basketball versus York.

The 3-2 Green Terror wrestlers traveled to Annapolis, Md., for the Navy Classic Nov. 19. Tony Howard ’06 recorded the lone gold for McDaniel in the 165-pound division.

McDaniel wrestling competes at the Kutztown Invitational in Kutztown, Pa., Nov. 23.

Green Terror swimming battled Franklin & Marshall at home Nov. 18. Both McDaniel squads recorded losses, the men falling 34-56 and the women falling 38-57. Molly Bolek ’07, Cassie Allen ’06, Brooke Bennett ’06, Chris Reed ’08, Dan Lebost ’09 and Mark Yankovich ’07 were top finishers for the Green Terror.

McDaniel swimming heads to Lancaster, Pa., for the Franklin & Marshall Invitational Dec. 3-4.

Green Terror indoor track opens its season at the West Virginia Holiday Invitational in Morgantown, W.V., Dec. 3.
