Bilingual Education
Bilingual Education: Training for All Teachers is funded by the United States Department of Education / Office of English Language Acquisition, Language Enhancement, Academic Achievement for English Language Learners (OELA) and is a joint project of McDaniel College and University Research Co./Center for Human Services. The Program provides high quality teacher training in Bilingual Education and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at McDaniel College.
Graduate and Professional Studies at McDaniel is guided by the vision that cultural and linguistic diversity should be appreciated and fostered in all students. Participants, using research-based methods, gain the skills necessary to ensure that English Learner (EL) students in K-12 schools reach high levels of literacy and have access to the core curriculum.
