Mike Dipiero ’06 (left) sunk the ball at the final buzzer to lift the Green Terror men’s basketball team over conference foe Ursinus 79-77 Dec. 3.  Dipiero also hit five of six three-pointers in the contest. The team sits at 3-3, 1-1 in conference.

McDaniel women’s basketball stumbled against Dickinson 62-70 Nov. 30. Amy Watson ’07 contributed 11 points and six rebounds, and Katy Powell ’07 added ten points. The squad has a 3-2, 0-1 in conference start to its season.

Both Green Terror basketball squads head to Johns Hopkins for Centennial play Dec. 6.

McDaniel indoor track finished in sixth place at the Dickinson Holiday Invitational Dec. 2. Kacey Decker ’09 placed third in the high jump with a 1.45-meter effort.

Green Terror indoor track travels to Carlisle, Pa., for the DuCharme Invitational Dec. 10.

McDaniel wrestlers placed fourth of eight squads at the Kutztown Invitational Nov. 23. The 3-2 team had four wrestlers come up short in championship matches. Mark Nakasone ’07, Zach Hetrick ’09, Andrew Winfield ’09 and Steve Jennings ’06 contributed silver-medal efforts at the meet.

Green Terror wrestling is off for the holidays, picking back up Jan. 7 at the North/South Duals in Hartford, Conn.
