Klitzberg Pavilion dedicated
President Coley, Richie and Judy Klitzberg and Trustee Marty Hill cut the ribbon
The College dedicated the Klitzberg Pavilion on Oct. 26. The entranceway and connecting lobby of the Gill complex serve students and sports fans alike with its multimedia Green Terror Sports Hall of Fame exhibit, food court, media center, athletic conference room and sports historical displays.

Created with a $1-million gift from Richie Klitzberg ’63 and his wife Judy Callahan ’63 Klitzberg, the pavilion includes a Sports Hall of Fame electronic kiosk that honors the achievements of former athletes. The pavilion, part of the North campus improvement project, enhances the student living-learning experience.

"I hope that current students utilize, respect and make it [Pavilion] a part of their education," said Richie at the dedication.

Klitzberg was a basketball player who, during his college career, scored 1,351 points, earning him the all-time third-place scorer for men’s basketball and his 1994 induction into the Green Terror Sports Hall of Fame.

Judy Klitzberg graduated summa cum laude in Biology and received a NIH grant to study at the University of Maryland, where she later earned her certification in cytology. After marrying in 1965, she worked as a cytotechnologist until motherhood demanded her full attention.

The couple lives in Boca Raton, Fla., where Richie manages his investment firm with offices also in Princeton, N.J., and where he and Judy enjoy recreational swimming, fishing and tennis.
