Good books make great gifts during the holiday season.  McDaniel College Associate Librarian Jane Sharpe will take the guesswork out of finding the year’s best books.  Her forum, “Books Sandwiched In,” will be held noon to 1 p.m. on Nov. 15 in McDaniel Lounge. The Music Café presents an evening of jazz/blues and classic rock at 8 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Carroll Arts Center. The concert features two high-profile local bands, the Mary Shaver Band and the Rags band. Tickets cost $20, $18 for students with ID and $5 for McDaniel students.
