Sandellas, a fast, casual eatery, opened Feb. 11 at the Klitzberg Pavilion in McDaniel’s Gill Complex.  It serves premium-quality, health conscious food, including wraps, paninis, pizza, quesadillas and salads. Additionally, Sandellas will serve smoothies and organics.

“Now you can grab a healthier sandwich when you’re leaving the Leroy Merritt Fitness Center,” says Conference and Auxiliary Services Director Mary Jo Colbert. “Portion sizes, calorie and fat gram counts are available for each item.”

The casual restaurant is part of the Klitzberg Pavilion, which features a multimedia Green Terror Sports Hall of Fame exhibit and media center. It connects to the Leroy Merritt Fitness Center, a hub for student activity with its state-of-the art cardiovascular and strength training equipment.

Sandellas will be open Monday-Friday 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 6 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
