At its inaugural meeting March 20, members of the Corporate and Foundation Committee of the Carpe Diem Campaign outlined its goal to both raise awareness and funding support of McDaniel College from the Baltimore/Washington’s corporate community and the region’s foundations.

McDaniel College received $50,000 grant from the Baltimore-based Middendorf Foundation in late February, 2008 to support the North Campus Improvement Project which includes the renovation and expansion of the Gill Learning Center, Phase II of the North Village residence halls, the new entrance on the Pennsylvania side of the campus, and the renovation of the Garden Apartment residence halls.
The Middendorf Foundation made a gift of $50,000 in 2003 to establish and endow the Middendorf Foundation Scholarship Fund that provides financial support of graduate students in Human Services Management program.
