Jan 4, 2009, Sunday: Florence – Arrival
Upon arrival at Rome International Airport, meet our representative for your transfer to your hotel. Afternoon tour includes Duomo and Baptistery, Giotto’s bell tower, Casa di Dante and Bargello. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Jan 5, 2009, Monday: Florence
Santa Maria Novella, San Lorenzo and Cappelle Medicee, Cross Arno, Palazzo Pitti, Boboli Gardens, return to Florence by Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Jan 6, 2009, Tuesday: Pisa & Florence
Visit Pisa in AM . PM Epiphany festivity. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Jan 7, 2009, Wednesday: Florence
Full day tour to visit Galleria dell’Accademia, Santa Croce, Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio.  Dinner at a local restaurant.

Jan 8, 2009, Thursday: San Gimignano – Siena- Rome
Drive to San Gimignano. Walking tour of the old town to see Piazza della Cisterna, Palazzo del Popolo, Collegiata and Palazzo Vecchio. Continue to Siena. Visit Duomo, Palazzo Publico, Fonte gaia, Piazza del Campo and medieval merchants Arcade. Arrive in Rome in early evening. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Jan 9, 2009, Friday: Rome
Aurelian Walls, Porta Pinciana, Villa Borghese, Castel S. Angelo, Via della Conciliazione, St. Peter's Basilica (Visit), and the Vatican Museum; visit the Tapestry Gallery, the Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel. Group will visit the catacombs under Vatican. Visit permission formalities c/o group leader.  Afternoon visit Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Spanish Steps. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Jan 10 2009, Saturday: Rome 
Full day tour includes Piazza Venezia, the Capitol Square (visit), panoramic view of the Roman Forum and Palatine, Massenzio Basilica, the Colosseum (VISIT), San Pietro in Vincoli, CATACOMBS (Visit) the Arch of Constantine, the Circus Maximus and St. Paul Basilica outside the walls (visit). Dinner at a local restaurant.

Jan 11 2009, Sunday: Assisi
On our way to Assisi, stop in Spoleto to see Ponte delle Torri, Arco di Druso and Sant’Eufemia renowned for its women’s gallery. Brief stop in Foligno and Spello, before we arrive in Assisi, heir to the legacy of St. Francis who is buried the basilica di San Francesco. After visit the Basilica, dinner at a local restaurant.

Jan 12 2009, Monday: San Marino - Ravenna - Venice
Departure for San Marino.  After a walking tour, continue to Ravenna to visit San Vitale’s famed mosaics, Dante’s Tomb and Mausoleum of Galla Placidia. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Jan 13 2008, Tuesday: Venice
Morning vaporetto tour with guide allow us to see, Riva di Biasio, Canale di Cannaregio, San Marcuola, San Stae, Ca d’Oro, Ca’ Pesaro, Rialto Bridge, Peggy Guggenheim Collection Palace. Get off at Accademia for a visit. Continue to San Marco to see the Basilica. Stop at Palazzo Ducale to visit in depth. Afternoon vaporetto to visit the island of Morano and glass ateliers.  Dinner at a local restaurant.

Stop in Padova. Walking tour includes Corte and Palazzo Capitaniato, Caffe Pedrocchi, Padova University, Piazza Delle Erbe. Visit Capella degli Scrovegni and Basilica Sant’Antonio with Donatello’s statue of Gattamelata. Continue to Verona. Visit Roman Arena, Castelvecchio, Casa and Tombeo di Giulietta and Casa di Romeo. Drive to Lake Como. Dinner at a local restaurant.
